Mr. V.S. Sampath

Mr. V.S. Sampath joined the advisory board of in May 2017. As the Chief Election Commissioner of India during 2012-15, Mr. Sampath had smoothly conducted the largest electoral exercise in the history of world democracies - Indian General Election 2014 - where 550 million voters out 814 million eligible voters participated and the highest voting percentage of 66.7% was recorded since Indian independence. This election was regarded as the largest electoral exercise in the world and drew wide international acclaim.

Prof. Pradipta Banerji

Professor Pradipta Banerji has been Director of the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee from October 2011 to October 2016. He concurrently held the posts of Professor of Civil Engineering at IIT Bombay and at IIT Roorkee. Since November 2016 he has returned to his parent organization, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay as Professor of Civil Engineering, and since February 2017 as the Head, Centre for Urban Science and Engineering at IIT Bombay.

Mr. J.V. Lakshmana Rao

Mr. J.V. Lakshmana Rao, a seasoned editor, joined as an advisor for in December 2017. Mr. Rao demitted office as the chief editor of India Tribune in Chicago in June 2017. In his journalistic career spanning over five decades, he interviewed and reported high dignitaries such as - Indian Prime Minister P.V. Narasimha Rao and his historic address to the United Nations; interviewed Prime Minister A.B. Vajpayee and his landmark address to the joint session of US Congress; President Bill Clinton’s address to Indian physicians’ conference in Chicago; Senator Hillary Clinton’s address to Indian community; covered the US visits of Prime Ministers V.P. Singh and I.K. Gujral; interviewed Deputy Prime Minister L.K. Advani; and covered the visits of US and Indian leaders, noted business leaders, spiritual leaders, Bollywood stalwarts and stars and community activists. As a member of White House Press Corps, Mr. Rao accompanied and covered the historic and maiden visit of President George W. Bush’s to India and Pakistan. Mr. Rao covered and reported the eventful signing of the Indo-US civilian nuclear deal by President Bush and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in 2008. Mr. Rao trained several journalists and taught, as a visiting faculty, at various universities.
